The Tallapoosa church of Christ is a family made up of individuals and families seeking to have a closer relationship with God and each other. As the “called out” body of Christ, we are an autonomous congregation of His church; the church of Christ, striving to be nothing more or less. Simply, we belong to no denomination and have no earthly headquarters because Jesus alone is the head of the church (Ephesians. 1:22-23, Colossians 1:18)

As the New Testament church, we have no creed or statement of faith. God gave us His inspired Word, our only authority is in Christ (Matthew 28:18). We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. We wear no other name than the one disciples of Jesus have worn since the first century – Christian (Acts 11:26). Therefore, we seek to worship God in the same manner as the early New Testament church, teaching as they taught and being what they were; simply Christians committed to bringing His Truth to the world.
